Our Mission
A rich, full life begins with a clear, person-centered plan.
-
We help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to create a person-centered plan.
-
Working with teens and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, we assist individuals and families in writing appropriate, measurable goals for their transition from secondary school to adult living.
-
We provide information to families as they engage in the planning process.
Lifelong learning opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities must be available in the community and online, incorporating the principles of Universal Design for Learning.
-
-
We provide learning opportunities for continued growth in literacy skills, realizing that these skills lead to greater opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
-
We provide learning opportunities to foster the development of the soft skills needed for success in daily living and success on the job, to include social, decision making, and problem solving skills.
-
We teach daily living skills that lead to greater independence.
-
We support personal growth and relationships through access to appropriate Assistive Technologies for communication and daily living.
-
A full, meaningful life takes place in the community.
-
-
We foster partnerships with community groups, other non-profits, and businesses to enhance community connections as well as learning and employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
-
We support communities of faith in the inclusion of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
